Nice summary @K.F.Wright!!!
@MurrayYin - what’s the timeline for Log Video Out, Record and setting overlays and LOG based exposure tools?
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the summaries you make!
Once again, thanks for an excellent summary. Pixboom team - any way you can either take this over, or pin it to the top of its own topic so it is easily accessible? It is such useful information.
@K.F.Wright - huge thanks for doing the amazing work & creating this awesome consolidated list of bugs & requests - this will definitely help everyone when reporting issues without overlap & duplicates
Considering PIXBOOM Cine I just go the V0.4.3 2026-09-15 for Windows:
The good:
Happy to see we got a nice dark mode with orange accents - streamlined aesthetics & very legible
A thoughtful file naming structure with selected frame range, clip date, recorded FPS during export
Playback speed up to 120 FPS - great for utilizing monitors with fast refresh rates and faster scrubbing through footage
The would-love-to-haves:
Still no batch/default settings! It’s an absolute pain to set every file manually, especially when dealing with anamorphics, framerates other than 24.000 FPS (which is always), image tweaks, etc. The program ignores changing the parameters even when all files are selected. It’s beyond my comprehension who wouldn’t want to have batch change of file settings.
Pre-determined H.264/HEVC presets: Still lacks options to set the bitrate by hand (If 84 mbit is called Very High, then I can consider myself very high as well), no 4:4:4 or even 4:2:2 chroma subsampling.
No hotkeys even for Inpoint and Outpoint ![]()
No proper intermediate codec on Windows: ProRes, DNxHR, CineForm where are you?
The exposure / highlight clipping issue is still present: you can only recover true highlight detail when you export to CinemaDNG - the software WILL NOT display full latitude even after tweaking exposure/contrast and the detail will be lost when exporting to HEVC or H.264
Fix pattern noise elimination - this would help immensely as there are no user-friendly options to get rid of the FPN when dealing with low-light shots
Loading custom sensor calibration is still missing from the Windows version - this was very useful on the dev Mac version to fix certain clips shot with older or disabled sensor calibration
As suggested before - please expose a config file in which we can set defaults, bitrates, etc. While the new interface looks great, most of us will agree that we need function first, form second.
Thank you for your ongoing work and efforts!
Hey @MurrayYin - we really need keyboard shortcuts for the software. When you offload a mag its all about scrubbing through a clip and quickly marking the in and out points.
E.g.
‘I’ for In-Point
‘O’ for Out-Point
‘,’ for add to Render List
It speeds up the process so much and when on set its all about being quick and efficient. Not having shortcuts makes the usability an absolute pain right now.
Hope this can be implemented soon!! Thanks!!
No problem! Shortcuts are already on our roadmap and will be available soon!
Could you kindly explain the changes in the latest update?
