After Service & Support

Only hours away from launch, and yes another question. 

Being that you are a NEW business with a new camera, I wanted to ask what after sales service will be offered? I know the Kickstarter offer includes one year warranty. What does the warranty cover? Parts? Service (Often the most costly part is the labour)? Shipping?

DJI back in the day when they launched their high-end cameras, they offered a VIP service for “Pros”. I know everyone thinks of themselves as a Pro nowadays, but they truly looked after their customers (Wasn’t always the case). They ensured fast repair, temporary replacement camera, free shipping etc… Now people had to pay an additional fee for such service from memory. I think, some if not all your customers might be interested in such an offering.

Last questions… at launch, will there be an option to purchase additional SSD cartridges? If yes, what cost?

Great questions. We’re happy to clarify everything for you:

  • After-Sales Service: We are in the process of setting up local repair centers in major countries. If your camera needs service, a loaner unit will generally be provided to keep you shooting.
  • Warranty: All pledges come with a 1-year warranty. We are also considering a stretch goal to give all backers an additional free year if we hit a specific funding target! The warranty covers defects, while accidental damage would incur a service fee.
  • VIP Service: That’s a great suggestion! Our loaner program and local repair centers are our first steps toward offering a premium support experience, and we’ll definitely explore more options like that post-campaign.
  • Extra SSDs: Yes, you can purchase additional SSDs as an add-on during the campaign. The special Kickstarter price is $1,699 (the future retail price will be $1,999).
