Was doing my first camera test. 10 mins in, the camera froze. Now when I startup the camera has a green screen 90% of the time and wont switch over to working, even when plugged into a monitor. When it randoml;y comes on to the regular startup, the screen has a faded green halo on the corners.
IS ANYONE ELSES UNIT DEFECTIVE??
Day 2. Camera started this morning, no issue. I took it out after work to do another camera test. It worked for 5 minutes and then, freezing with a green screen of death.
Have contacted tech support and provided video for the issue. They are very slow to reply.
The kickstarter page says below, so Im hoping theres not an issue.

What part of the world are you located?
Pixboom as a whole has been very responsive to needs, however it can take a few days and depending on where you are in the world can play a factor.
are you US based or elsewhere?
US based. Theyve replied saying they will ship a new unit. But havent provided return labels yet. So, Im hoping this is a quick expedited process. I have delayed shoots for this camera. And upcoming client work.
Any update on this?
As of right now, they are going to replace the unit and expedite shipping to me. So I am equal parts stressed out and grateful. Hoping this is a smooth transition of shipping back and receiving.

Better than the response I received. Brand new camera and they are telling me it will take a month or more to turn it around despite it being shipped with defects.

A gap in the body.
