Recording formats/codecs
When you receive the camera, only Pixboom RAW will be available to provide maximum post-production flexibility. The good news is that ProRes development is already in our development plan and will be supported through future firmware updates.
Currently, Pixboom RAW requires conversion through our Pixboom Cine PC software, which saves it as CinemaDNG format. We are also working to integrate it into third-party tools as soon as possible, but this requires time and collaboration with multiple parties.
Autofocus
Currently, autofocus is not supported because the frame rate is quite high, and lens motors cannot match the corresponding frame rate. However, we can support electronic lenses, which works without any issues.
Stabilization, IBIS
The Spark does not have IBIS. Because the Spark’s characteristic is extremely high frame rates, such high frame rates eliminate the need for stabilization in many scenarios - this is a natural advantage of high frame rates.
Recording media
Of course, it’s included! We will gift a Pixboom Pro Card as part of the offer. Its storage capacity is 2.5TB.
