Just a fun little game while we wait for the Pixboom Spark Kickstarter! I’m guessing the super early bird price for the Pixboom Spark will be $6999. Any other guesses?

If the early bird price for the body is $8999, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. If the combo package (camera + storage card) is $9999, that would be awesome!

I think that would be incredible if it is possible, but as mentioned it needs to out preform the Ember on every point including the codec and file output, I’d really love to see a cine format available as it is often what is requested in the advertisement sector.
As long as it can record RAW files and has a dynamic range exceeding Freefly, even if it’s an early engineering version, I’d gladly pay $9,999 for the early bird price.

i still think $9999 is too high for the average high end content creator. Like I said early bird price 10 day special for $6999 (body only) is a sweet deal with a regular price of $10,999 is fair. It looks like the dynamic range will be higher than the Ember and Chronos models!

It is true, but keep in mind highspeed production is quite different than the regular content creators workflow, that’s not to say it wouldn’t be fantastic to get this tool out to many hands and see lots of great ideas sprout up. It would just be sad to see the spark land in the gimmick category, if there is one area all other highspeed camera companies fall short, it is in providing some level of training outfit, I always praised blackmagic design for the davinci training modules that are available on youtube, it helps the novice in excelling, personally when i began using it the training modul was extremely valuable.

My guess at $6999 wasn’t too far off from the $7499 VIP price! Can I get an extra $2000 ($5499) off since I guessed pretty close to it? hehe
