Vertical filming option?
Should be as easy as any other camera. Just get a right angle/L-plate (something like this: https://woodencamera.com/collections/camera-support/products/mini-vertical-camera-bracket) to mount it sideways, or you can always screw a baseplate straight into one of the cage side ribs. I’ve also mounted a NATO rail on cage sides before and slid on a handle so I can handhold sideways.
Alternatively, I believe they said you can make custom resolutions, so you could probably just make a custom sensor crop to vertical and record that way.
There’s always a way, but nowadays it should be part of the plan to facilitate handheld vertical filming. Even just an easy way to mount a monitor and rotate the camera could make a big difference in terms of novel ways to use the camera. One can always solve anything by adding gear, from a handle to a dolly, but every piece of gear has an impact on freedom. Personally, I’m not a fan of the vertical tyranny of phone world but we all live in it.
