I figured it would be good to have a list of accessories that are available for the Spark. Let me know if you’ve seen anything that should be added.
Power and I/O
Mutiny Spark Power IO - available in gold mount and v mount, this plate adds D-tap, 2-pin, and a 3-pin Fischer R/S power ports along with a 5-pin timecode, BNC genlock, 4-pin UART/GPO, 9-pin accessory passthrough, and DC in ports along with a record button.
Mutiny AC/DC Power Supply - Available as both an AC power supply as well as a battery block compatible XLR cable.
Mid49 Gold Mount and V-Mount Power Plates - Available in gold mount and v-mount, this plate expands the power port options with one 5V USB-C, two D-taps, two 2-pin, and two 3-pin Fischer R/S power ports, as well as a 4-pin XLR power input. The power plate will automatically switch from DC to battery if the voltage drops below 12.5v (or if power is pulled completely).
Octamas Power Box Pro IO Micro - Available in both gold mount and V-Mount, this goes directly onto the Spark’s built in V-Mount and gives power and IO options: 9-pin EXT in (using RED to Pixboom adapter cable), 9-pin RED EXT passthrough (compatible with RED DSMC3 accessories), 3-pin 24V Fischer R/S, 6-pin RED DC power input, 4-pin RED CTRL (reserved for future functionality), two 2-pin power, 5-pin timecode/genlock, BNC genlock, and two D-taps.
Octamas Power Distribution Box IO - Loses some of the power options of the Power Box Pro IO (no battery plate, no DC in, no D-tap, 3-pin Fischer is 12V instead of 24V), this uses a 2-pin 12V power input and is designed to be mounted onto the side of the camera or on a cheeseplate rather than the V-mount on the back of the camera.
Cables and Expansion
Mutiny Bolt-on R/S Button - “BOLT-ON R/S record button (run/stop trigger) for the Pixboom Spark cameras. Our button uses the 9pin EXT port on the camera or on our SPARK Power IO box. Our 9pin features a re-keyed keyway so that the DC in port, USB-C and HDMI connectors are un-obstructed. The Bolt-On R/S button lets you easily add a record button where you want it. Mount it on a handle. Mount it on a shoulder rig. Mount it 250 feet away using standard 1/8 (3.5mm) headphone extension cable.”

Ignite Digi Pixboom EXT to RED EXT Adapter Cable - This cable allows the use of existing PIXBOOM Spark’s EXT port uses the same lemo BUT has a different pin-out than RED DSMC3 EXT port. This cable bridges the gap, meaning you can use any RED EXT Breakout.
Ignite Digi D-Tap to Spark Power Cable - Powers the Spark via D-tap.
Ignite Digi 3-Pin Fischer to 9-Pin EXT Cable - Connect any 3-pin Fischer cable to the Spark’s 9-pin EXT. Does not provide power to the accessory.
Ignite Digi 3-Pin LEMO to Spark Power Cable - This 3-Pin Lemo Right Angle to 5-Pin Lemo Right Angle cable is designed to feed hot-swappable, regulated 15V from these Ignite accessories: TB50 Hammerhead, TB51 Hammerhead, Power Expansion Pack for MōVI Pro, and Power Expansion Pack for MōVI XL.
Ignite Digi TPEP to Spark Power Cable - This 3-Pin Lemo Straight to 5-Pin Lemo Right Angle cable is designed to feed 15V power from 3-Pin Lemo on the TORQ Power Expansion Pack (TPEP) to PIXBOOM Spark!
Ignite Digi Ronin 2 to Spark Power Cable - This 6-Pin Lemo Straight to 5-Pin Right Angle cable is designed to feed power from Ronin 2 to PIXBOOM Spark. Source regulated 14.4V from the DC-OUT Lemo, located on the underside of the gimbal cage.
Ignite Digi Titan LT to Spark Power Cable - This 2-Pin Lemo Straight to 5-Pin Lemo Right Angle cable is designed to feed 14.4V from TITAN LT to PIXBOOM Spark. Plugs into the 2-Pin Lemo 14.4V port on the tilt stage unit on TITAN LT.
Cages, Plates and Risers
Mid49 15mm Lightweight Riser Plate - Baseline 15mm LW (Pixboom Spark) is a baseplate that holds 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the center of the lens and has an Arri dovetail compatible slot on the bottom while the top section uses an Arca Swiss plate.
Bright Tangerine Leftfield Mini Baseplate Riser - This Arri dovetail compatible baseplate comes with a 52.5-55.5mm riser plate, perfect for getting a cageless (or at least no bottom plate) Spark to proper 15mm lightweight height. The 2-stage release lever allows for both sliding off a dovetail or lifting straight off.
Putting a bottom plate on the camera? Get the 61.5-63.5mm riser kit version for proper height (also available as a stand-alone riser if you already have a Leftfield Mini baseplate). I’d also suggest getting the Rear Rod Bracket expansion.
Octamas Base Cage Set - Includes bottom plate riser with 15mm lightweight rod support and top plate with handle.
Octamas Advanced Power IO Cage Set - Includes an advanced bottom plate riser with built in power distribution: D-tap, 2-pin power in, two 2-pin power out, 5-pin timecode and genlock, 3-pin 12v Fischer R/S, and 9-pin EXT (wired for DSMC3, so needs to use the Spark to DSMC3 cable adapter). Also has additional side cheese plates and mounting points over the Base Cage.
Octamas Full Power IO Cage Set - Appears to include everything from the Advanced Power IO Cage (immediately above) plus the Power Box Pro IO Micro (Power and I/O section at top).
Mutiny Modular Cage System - Currently in development.
SmallRig Spark Cage - Included with Kickstarter orders, this includes a bottom plate, NATO rail side ribs (compatible with SmallRig’s HawkLock system) with 1/4"-20 and 3/8" holes, and a NATO/HawkLock top rail. The insides are rubber padded to protect the camera body from scratches and the threaded holes have solid bottoms so bolts can’t pass through and damage the camera. Currently not offered separately from the Kickstarter rewards.
