I randomly hat the mag not connect even on Tahoe 26.5.2.
so i formatted the drive on a PC with the specs i got from support:
Initialize the Disk:
If prompted to initialize, choose GPT (GUID Partition Table) and click OK.
Create New Volume: Right-click the unallocated space on the SSD and select New Simple Volume. Click Next until you reach the “Format Partition” screen.
Apply Cinema Specs (Crucial): On the format screen, precisely select the following settings:
File system: exFAT Allocation unit size: 16384 KB (or 16 MB depending on your Windows version) Volume label: leave it default Complete: Check “Perform a quick format,” click Next, and then Finish.
Since i did this, it seems the drive is recognized every time i connect it to my mac.
