See, I knew it! Around March give or take was my guess. With that being said, itās normal for KS delivery times to be pushed back. Even Phillip Bloom mentioned this I think in his video. Iām guessing too because of Chinese New Year in February, this will push things to March or even longer perhaps.

as i said I am very skeptical, is something very weird , the way how they handle business, all the influencers, marketing hype, i am afraid is more hat and no cattle actually. The reports from China that actualy the whole company is only 4 peopleā¦hmm can be the competition pounding on them but might be true also.

I also find it odd how they hid the Kickstarter #2 update to only backers and not the public. You would think they would keep it open to all to attract potential buyers who are considering preordering. @admin any reasons why you did this all?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! As the CMO here, I had to chuckle at the ā4-person companyā rumor. 
While I sometimes wish our payroll was that small, the reality is quite different! We actually have a full team of 50+ dedicated people across R&D, supply chain, and customer support working hard behind the scenes.
I totally understand the skepticism regarding marketing hypeāitās a noisy industry. But we believe the ācattleā (the product) speaks for itself once you try it. Weāre here for the long run, not just for the buzz. Happy to answer any specific questions you have about our operations!

We actually do this to give our backers a bit of a VIP experience! We want to make sure the community that funds us gets the first look at everything.

Thanks for the info. I am on the fence. I understand you wanting to update your backers first, but I feel like it would be beneficial to also release the updates (maybe a week or two after you post them to backers) for the general public on this forum board so that they are aware of whatās going on. It just doesnāt seem consistent that you would post update #1 for the public on here last month and then not post update #2 for them as well.
@admin also the reason why I havenāt preordered yet is because I see some quality issues with the footage so far in 2K. The 4K is mostly excellent. But the 2K image seems to fall apart real fast and I need the 2K frame rates to be good. Iām not expecting it to be as good as the 4K, but the aliasing/moire in the 2K mode seems a lot worse than I thought it would be (based on the recent 2K footage Iāve seen).
@poco_bw @admin look at image below of falcon. The face and wings have some weird artifacting going on. Not trying to be negative (like I said the 4K image is mostly excellent), but if I want to preorder, I want to be confident I wonāt be getting these image issues in 2K.
As i said also, can be a rumor, i just watched the youtube video from china, maybe your competitors try to put you down maybe not. Obviously i did not try the cattle myself, so do the vast majority of the backers isnāt it ? Is based on trust, from all the hype with all the influencers what i trust is Phillip, but hey he is just one man he also said are some problems so ? Your statement that the product speak for itself is partially true, indeed he speak only with himself because 99% of the backers did not āspeakā with the product at all.
Why I am skeptical:
All the hype, well overboard trying to mimic Apple strategy.
, You pushed the camera onto testing unfinished, no buttons, software unfinished, lcd partial, etc that means you rush for something what does not make real business sense.
Majority of influencers did not review the camera were doing for you mostly advertorials, so I take with a pinch of salt paid advertorials when i see them,
Frequent delays and problems,
Very sporadic updates to your backers.
Is not that i have something against the camera or the company, is just the fact that you are asked to put upfront 7K based on trust only and a story, is a heavy pill to swallow.
Is regular practice to do cheaper presales to make the money for manufacturing, but the way you guys did it, put a question mark for me this is all. I am neutral. I am watching updates and see how is evolving.Good light to everybody.

Good points @poco_bw! @admin @young I think bi-weekly updates to backers and the general public are the best course of action for transparency and consistency. I too am wanting this product to be successful, but our points and critiqueās are valid. I have a lot of reservations on the 2K footage as it suffers a lot from artifacting. We need more footage in 2K with the new firmware updates to see if this issue gets resolved. Thatās one big reason I didnāt pledge or preorder yet.

Are you a backer of the camera? The second update is hidden to the public and only viewable to bakers which I find quite odd since they posted update #1 to the public. I get them wanting to release information first to backers but it still should be available to the public a few weeks after at least.

Hopefully, it goes out later today. Looking forward about the news. I wish they can make it public as well.
Now that I look again, their wording was āour next update is scheduled for around January 20th.ā I thought I had seen on the 20th. So I guess it could potentially be a few more days and still be āaroundā that date.
