I have updated the firmware to 20260604_101325 but I still cant get SDI to show up as an option for monitoring. Any ideas?
According to the firmware update notes, 4K HDMI was added. It doesn’t mention SDI being enabled, so that isn’t a feature that’s been activated yet.
SDI isn’t really a “feature” unlock. it’s a basic standard port on the camera. the manual says it should be working. Does your camera show an SDI option?
They’re apparently still working on SDI.

Yeah, in one of the other threads they said SDI is a top priority to get working. I’m guessing the manual was created with the assumption SDI would be enabled, or enabled shortly after. There are a few other functions mentioned in the manual that don’t exist in camera yet.
Yea, Pixboom has been pretty clear that our early cameras shipped with the basic Dev firmware. They could have held back until these options were ready and the new UI was finished but they felt it was better to get the camera into our hands and see what we really need…
Trust me it’s hard, I use SDI every day and it HDMI really doesn’t work for my workflow but I do enjoy having my camera already and knowing it will come with an update soon is enough.
Until then I have mounted a BM HDMI to SDI micro converter on the side and power it via the USB C port on the camera.
