Pixboom Updates: CABSAT, Spark, and What’s Coming Next!

Hello Pixboomers, it’s Young here!

May has been an incredible month for us, and I’m beyond excited to share some updates about what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next. Let’s dive in! :rocket:

CABSAT 2025: Dubai Adventures

In mid-May, we had the absolute privilege of attending CABSAT, the MEASA region’s biggest imaging event. A huge shoutout to FABT (Future Art Broadcast Trading) for providing us with the perfect booth to showcase Pixboom.

Even more exciting, we’re now working closely with FABT to establish a strong logistics and after-sales service network for the Middle East region. This is just the beginning, but we’re thrilled to share that similar plans for North America and Europe are already in motion.

And we can’t forget to thank @shadisharar, one of our amazing videographers and community members, who convinced us to take part in this event. Your passion and encouragement were the spark that made this happen. Thank you for believing in us and for helping us connect with the incredible creative energy of the Middle East.

Spark Love and Feedback

The response to Spark at CABSAT blew us away! From the moment we powered it up at the booth, we were surrounded by creators who were eager to see it in action. Your feedback—from ideas for broadcast-specific features to tips on handling extreme heat—was invaluable, and we’ve already started working on updates to make Spark even better.

Your voices truly matter to us. Keep sharing your thoughts, because together, we’re shaping something extraordinary.

Expanding Global Support

We know how important it is to have reliable logistics and after-sales support, and we’re making big moves to ensure every Pixboomer gets the service they deserve.

In Dubai, we’ve partnered with FABT to build a regional repair and logistics hub, and we’re actively working on expanding this model to North America and Europe. We’re also exploring new ways to connect with you through WeChat support centers and regional hubs, so no matter where you are, we’ll be there for you.

Thanks for the update Young! This is truly exciting news. I’m looking forward to see what the logistic and warehousing details will be for the USA and North America.

It would be cool if you can host a future event in the Washington D.C. area! What excites me the most about the Spark is the BSI sensor tech and anamorphic desqueeze options!

the people around me in the photo they are Philip form ARRI and Rene From CVP  they loved the camera.

Awesome work guys! Excited for more updates asap!

Was great to talk for a long time at cinegear about the Spark and upcoming features. The BSI sensor and multiple ISO sensitivities really excite me and I can’t wait to see where the light sensitivity of the camera ends up. Wish I had a hard drive with me during my time so I could have gotten my hands on some footage to check out as the post workflow and software to convert the format to a workable format has me curious. Coming from the Chronos 2.1, Phantom Flex, I know the workflows can be less traditional so curious where this one will fall.

Also custom resolutions by input was really nice to see and surprising more cameras don’t offer it. Very excited to see this camera move forward and look forward to the day I can get my hands on it.
