Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS Super Telephoto Zoom Lens (SEL200600G)

I found some older posts implying that electronic E-mount will be supported in the released product, but didn’t find a definitive spec. Will the Spark with E-mount support power and communication with this lens? I understand the Spark won’t support auto-focus, but I think this lens uses focus-by-wire in manual focus mode, rather than mechanically-coupled focus, so it would require the camera to handle the signals. And it needs power for the image stabilization, not as critical for high-speed work but can be beneficial. This is a great wildlife lens that would be a great match for the Spark but only if it’s electrically compatible. Has anyone actually tested this lens on the Spark yet?

If the answer is no, then what long-zoom lens can you recommend that is definitely compatible with an E-mount Spark?

I’m also very interested in knowing this - I use the 200-600 on almost every automotive shoot I do. I don’t need focus but fly by wire manual focus needs to be usable and somewhat linear in behaviour as cars/bikes/planes move quick.

I previously asked this question and the answer was that yes, the lens (ef too) will be powered, it is needed also to drive iris on gmaster lenses without iris ring
