Guys, I agree, it’s difficult to be patient, but to put this in perspective you have to remember you backed a Kickstarter campaign….ie a project starting from scratch, I went into this fully expecting delays. If you wanted a more predictable delivery timeline you should have ordered an Ember! Yes, there’s been promises but clearly the project is progressing and in all honesty the communication from the team has actually been good. I’m backer #484, I’ll be less understanding if I don’t have a unit by October!

Well said!
My cushion of 6 months is reasonable
Wait for October and we talk again haha
The delays are understandable, but the lack of updates is not acceptable. They promised weekly updates when shipping started, and that only lasted for two weeks… That’s not ok.
The flak they’re getting for the delays are directly due to the lack of communication.

Just to add a bit of good to this chat.
They “shipped” my camera last Friday.
DHL picked it up on Monday, but since it’s going with DHL express it’s expected delivery to EU is just in 2 days.
As a fun fact DHL just reloaded it at BAHRAIN
which is well… as close to war zone as it gets But hey it’s going fast
So fingers crossed no hardware issues - and wish everyone good luck waiting for their turn.

The DHL shipping (to the US at least), had been great. My camera arrived the day after it was shipped out. My extra lens mounts just shipped yesterday and are due to arrive today, so it looks like they got things right on the shipper side.

Really the first footage I have seen at 2K. It doesn’t look bad, definitely better than the other cams.
Let’s watch some recent 4K stuff:

When this camera is well exposed (highlights warning) looks very smooth!

Appreciate your patience! I’m still aligning with the in-house multiple team and will share updates by this Friday at the latest.
