Used a competing brand high speed cam last weekend and did find one thing very cool. You can use the dial to speed up in camera playback when reviewing clips. Is this going to be an option for the Spark?

That is indeed a very useful feature!
I am happy to confirm that the official shipping version of Spark will definitely have this function. You will be able to use the dial to control playback speed just like that.

Great question! I’m happy to report that the magenta tint issue has been fully resolved.
It only existed in our very early prototype stages. For the mass production (MP) models, we have upgraded to a filter with a much sharper cutoff frequency, which completely eliminates the tint. In fact, the later test units we sent out already included this fix.
You can expect clean and accurate color performance from the final units.
