Switchable resolution output on SDI port and HDMI ports (independently)?

Further to an unanswered question from blaisebasdevant, will the Spark’s SDI port video output be switchable from 12G to 3G (and HDMI output switchable between UHD & HD)? This would be great to facilitate use of video tx and monitors etc. that do not support 4K signals.

Will you be able to set the resolution of these two ports independently, so you can, for example, output an HD signal over SDI whilst outputting UHD over HDMI (or 4K over SDI whilst outputting 1080P signal over HDMI? This would be ideal.

To answer your questions:

  1. Yes, switching the resolution on the video output ports is supported.
  2. As for setting independent resolutions for each port simultaneously (e.g., HD on SDI while keeping UHD on HDMI), we still need to evaluate and test that workflow. I can’t confirm just yet if that will be possible.
