Hey Scott,

Yes, and here’s the simple breakdown of how it works so you don’t have to worry:

  1. On September 17th, we will email you a secret perk link for your discount.
  2. You can use that link to make your pledge anytime you want while the campaign is live.
  3. Your card will NOT be charged immediately. Kickstarter will only charge your card within the 7 days AFTER the campaign officially ends on October 16th.

So, you have the entire campaign period to make your move, and the actual payment happens after it’s all over. :heart_hands:

Does this also apply to debit card? Or will debit card be charged right away?

Hi there, Kickstarter processes all payments through Stripe. As long as your debit card is supported by Stripe (like a Visa or Mastercard debit), it will be treated just like a credit card for the pledge.

This means the charge will only happen after the campaign successfully ends, not the moment you pledge.

Understood!

Hello… Can I pay, say, half the amount immediately and, say, the other half before the expiration date?

Unfortunately, the Kickstarter platform does not support split payments.

Here’s how it works:
When you complete your order starting September 17th, you are making a pledge for the full amount. You are not charged any money at that time.

Kickstarter will only charge your card for the full amount in a single transaction after the campaign successfully ends on October 16th. This charge typically happens within 7 days after the end date.

So, in short, it’s a one-time payment processed by Kickstarter after the campaign is over.

Hope this clarifies things!:heart_hands:
