This is a simple suggestion that would be highly appreciated. I just think at this point it would be very nice to get an actual update every friday instead of every two weeks or so. A lot of people like me are still waiting to get their camera and are still clueless about when this will happen.
Just giving us an update with actual true numbers of cameras that have been shipped and how many is planned for the next week. Personally I thought I was getting mine a lot sooner (like others did) and now I see my two week vacation coming mid august and the worst scenario would be to get the camera delivered while i’m gone.
I doubt this is too much to ask. Please Pixboom give us a clear picture!
We get it — waiting without a clear timeline is a sad story, and we respect that.
Here’s the honest truth: we’d love to give weekly updates, but right now the production schedule doesn’t run on a fixed weekly cycle. If we pushed out an update every Friday with nothing concrete to say, it wouldn’t actually help you plan — it’d just be noise. That’s not what you deserve.
What we will do is post an update every time there’s a real development — confirmed shipments, batch numbers, anything that actually affects when your camera arrives. And regarding your August vacation — we hear you. We’ll do our best to give enough heads-up before the next batch ships so you can make arrangements.
