First impression is that it is working very well.
Tested line of sight to about 25 meters with no issues.
Slight lag on PreRecord/Record/Stop - to be expected, but must also be accounted for in Prerecord Duration.
Dropped connection once, and automatic Reconnect did not occur. I had to quit the (Safari) browser page on my iPhone, then start it again and all was good.
One minor niggle is that in playback mode, if I have a long list of clips, I scroll down the list of clips to select an early one, then have to scroll all the way back to the top of the list to access the playback controls. Not a huge issue, but room for improvement.
Excellent first release, and having just built a few custom length ‘pickle’ switches with 9 pin LEMO connector cables, they may now be redundant for several applications. Lol!
Question: What is the effect on battery life having any or all of the following parameters set:
HDMI, SDI, HDMI&SDI, WIFI, and PreRecord?
