Hi pixboom,
will there be a playback feature? If not what would be the best way to playback without offloading the footage.
what is the battery life for 99wh battery?
Is it 10 bit? Or 12bit?

Of course, Spark has a playback feature. Both HDMI and SDI outputs can be used to view the playback signal.
The battery life is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes with a 99Wh battery.
The footage is stored as 10-bit data.
Is it possible to playback without external monitor?
so live playback of your slowmo clips? Clips are max 7mins long?
just thinking this could be a good cinematic RF option for sports if they can play back clips through an RF system to EVS replay machine.
Absolutely! The Spark has a built-in display, so you can review and play back your shots right after you capture them.
Hi, are you referring to playback while recording, or playback after the recording is finished?
Playback after recording. Just wandering if it can continuously record and save clips in 7minute chunks . So say if you were filming the walking on for football teams or a tennis match you can hit record and film for 30 min or longer and the camera will keep recording. Don’t want to keep hitting the record button on and off while trying to cover live action. Then the operator can play back for instant replay or edit, through the RF system once the walk on is done.

Playback after recording is an existing feature. Spark can record up to 7 minutes of video at the highest frame rate, resolution, and quality using the Spark Pro Card. If you only need half the frame rate, it can record for 14 minutes, and so on. If the recording exceeds the storage capacity of the card, you will need to replace it with another card to continue recording. The card replacement process is very straightforward.
Thank you! I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Does it record sound?
Spark doesn’t record sound… Audio captured in high-frame-rate scenarios would be distorted. Perhaps third-party accessories could be used for recording—we’ve already had some third-party manufacturers reach out to discuss similar topics.
I know you can’t say as there may be problems with production or shipping. But is there any chance I can get one by Feb 25th as on Feb 28th I have a film and tv award show which I would like to use for a glambot. But if not I will have to use my 120fps instead haha.
