Is there a link or access to the handle I see used on the Spark? I’d like to start collecting some of the necessary accessories so we are ready for the camera when it arrives.

Wasn’t the cage supposed to be from Smallrig? Has something changed? The cage looks great

The Tilta cage is a 3rd party accessory. The Smallrig cage that will come free to backers is more basic of course.
Great! Good to hear! Do you know how many 3/8 and 1/4 screw holes there are for attaching the camera from below in titla cage? Because in this photo it looks like there is only one and two for attaching at the front with M4 or M5 screws.
Can we get some info on the small rig cage? Or a release date for the tilta cage? I assume I’m not alone in wanting to mount 15mm LWS rods/arri dovetail under the camera and I don’t see any specs for spacing or guidance on what small rig baseplate would go with this cage

I’ve been wanting to do this as well. I contacted Tilta and unfortunately, they replied saying that they would not be making this cage 
. That was only a prototype.
Maybe Tilta isn’t seeing enough demand for it yet? It’s not surprising if that’s the case, since it’s quite a bit more expensive a camera than the usual indie crowd goes for… and there aren’t many in the wild yet.

mid49 has a baseplate for the correct height, and you can also use adjustable height baseplates

Yeah, that’s kind of an older story at this point.
Different companies have different ways of working and different timelines for collaborations. In the end, as many of you know, we ended up working with SmallRig on the cage.
That cage has already been produced and shipped out with Spark to backers, so people should be starting to get it in hand now.
I ordered mine in January. Will it come wth this cage? If not, where can I order one.
My kit arrived with no cage and only half the power adapter. Is the store running yet? Are there any accessories stateside. I was really wanting to rig this bad boy out and protect from the elements.
