I received an email this morning. All the information was correct and complete. Having lived through a bunch of other new product rollouts from other manufacturers, I think Pixboom is doing a great job of communicating and managing expectations. I’m in the US, and I’m backer #29.
I’m assuming you are also a shipping tester for the U.S.?
No I’m not one of the shipping test batch. As far as I know I am just a regular customer, one of the first batch of 100. I do know that our Spark is coming in a Pelican case because the new packaging is not ready yet.
I’m happy for you and anyone who’s camera is en-route. I’m just somewhat perplexed as to where my email is. I’m backer #26 and no email. I’ve checked junk mail and ensured the PIXBOOM emails are not blocked

I hope this is just a mistake because it is not fair to skip supporters. The order is very important for us.
They sent me an email (late last night Alberta, Canada time) but as yet no follow up as referenced in their response:

It’s frustrating but it is what it is.
As I understood, some countries have a slight delay. I’m #24 and was told Australia can only ship in June.
I am travelling to various countries over the next 6 weeks for work and suggested Malaysia, but they said there is no definitive test shipment for that country yet… Tried US as I’ll be there too, but was told self collection from DHL there might run into potential customs issues. Even tried Shenzhen as I have staff there flying to meet me, but the units are in Hong Kong and can’t be re imported to China.
Having to source an Ember in the meantime.
