I was told by support that since different countries have different wall plug standards, they are not including that part of the plug and we have to source them ourselves.
Speaking of Cinegear, while attending today with my Spark in hand, several accessory manufacturers asked me if there are any hardware needs they should be addressing for the Spark. I mostly told them cages, as I feel like most other accessories these days are pretty useable across cameras, so their current offerings should already fill most of my other needs. If anyone has any ideas for Spark specific items, however, I’d be happy to pass them on (several of them also read these forums, so might see your comments anyway).
Mutiny had their power distro plate there and I really like it. I’ll definitely be picking one up soon. They also had a 3D printed prototype for a cage, similar to their Komodo cage. They’re working on a top plate that will allow the power distro plate to really lock solidly into place (again, similar to their Komodo X cage/plate). The nice thing is that the Komodo is very similar in design, a small box with built in V mount and top mounted touchscreen, so they’ve already refined a lot of the system based on that.
Great to hear Austin! Keep us posted.
Yea, I see. That makes sense.
Ours came without that cord also. For the USA it’s a C5 power cord. I got one from Amazon for $6.
Hi guys, did anyone after baker 100 got any email/note? Baker 112 here no news yet
I’m also really interested if there is anyone who received an email after customer 100
#109 here - I contacted them and received a very kind reply from them that my camera is still in production.
Some earlier estimates I got were shipment to start mid Jun… so lets seeee…
If the 109 is in production, what about the 252, I think this is really slow. Not to be rude, but it seems to be slowing down, but it should be faster.
It would be reasonable to expect that production is batched and batches might increase in sizes…
But if they are lacking some components that potentially might hold everything…
Just my guesses…
As far as I remember, for the first 300, all components were already provided before the start of production.
I will be using various sensors and external inputs to trigger the Spark. As such, an adapter cable that plugs into the 9 pin EXT port and has a 3.5mm stereo input socket for half-press and full-press (prerecord/record) would be fantastic. Thanks!
same here, no additional Uncle Sam bill found yet on my doorstep.
Anyone have any idea how many cameras have been ordered? We ordered ours in January.. are we getting ours this year?
Not sure if this helps, but I ordered mine in October last year. Backer 309. At the pace everything seems to be going, I think I have a couple more months before I get it.
Given that the price post-Kickstarter is quite a bit higher than the Kickstarter price, I expect a smaller number of pre-orders before the cameras are in the field being used and the footage starts making waves.
So you probably aren’t that far back in the queue after the Kickstarter backers, of which there were only 454. That said, we don’t know how many people pre-ordered Sparks post-Kickstarter, so beyond the Kickstarter we can only guess.
Not likely you could get dual commands out of that since the RS function is built with only 1 command in mind however what you’re asking for isn’t too far fetched.
Right now the closest thing to that would be the mutiny RS button for RED EXT - BOLT-ON V2 Micro R/S Button for (DSMC3 / ARRI / DSMC2) – MUTINY
Then use the Octamas Pixboom to Red Ext converter cable until mutiny makes a Pixboom version of that RS button.

I see that some people around the world has gotten their hands on their camera, that’s nice. I have read all the posts in this thread, but I haven’t seen any info about if the promised SmallRig cage is included in the shipment?
The first milestone (1 million dollars) in the Kickstarter campaign was a t-shirt. The second milestone stated that we would get a free SmallRig cage. And the third milestone (3 million dollars) was 2 years warranty.
But I cannot see any info in my pledge that the SmallRig cage will be included. For those of you who got you camera delivered, was the cage included? If not, can admin respond with any info on when the promised cage will be delivered? I couldn’t care less about the t-shirt, but the cage and the 2 years warranty feel a bit more important.
